Marquee Styles
There are several types and styles of marquee available to the buyer or hirer. At Weatherill Brothers we manufacture traditional marquees out of a breathable cotton canvas that helps the marquee stay cool in the hot summer sun.
We also make marquees in the traditional style from tough high-quality PVC. Bedouin style marquees are also available and are currently quite popular.
Marquee Design
Our many years in the industry has led us to make some major innovations when it comes to marquee design, and these make our marquees some of the best quality and safest in the UK.
You’ve may well have been in a marquee when it’s raining outside (this is England after all). If so, you’ve probably seen water pooling in the marquee roof leaving big baggy water filled pockets which are not only unsightly but get very heavy and can be destructive to the marquee.
Perhaps you’ve seen someone prodding them with a broom in an attempt to push the water out of the canvas and down the side of the marquee? Weatherills marquees have a lower pitched roof design, and our marquee fabrics are tightly cut.
This goes a long way to eliminating that water pooling and keeping your marquee looking good and performing well in all weathers.
